Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the rules for how you may and may not use the Nyay360 platform. It applies to all users and supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of This Policy

Nyay360 exists to help Indian consumers draft genuine, well-organised grievance letters to resolve real consumer disputes. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) protects the integrity of the Platform and ensures it remains a trustworthy tool for legitimate use.

This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Permitted Uses

The Platform is intended for:

  • Drafting consumer complaint letters about genuine personal grievances with companies, banks, insurers, telecom operators, airlines, or other service providers
  • Using the Platform on your own behalf or on behalf of a family member with their knowledge and consent
  • Learning about consumer protection processes, escalation pathways, and regulator mechanisms for educational purposes
  • Downloading and using your unlocked complaint letter for personal submission to the relevant authority
  • Generating evidence checklists and escalation guidance to support your own genuine complaint

3. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination and possible legal action.

3.1 Fraudulent and Harmful Activity

  • Drafting or submitting complaints that you know to be false, fabricated, or materially misleading
  • Using the Platform to harass, intimidate, or extort a company or individual through the threat of filing a complaint
  • Filing complaints on behalf of another person without their explicit knowledge and consent
  • Using AI-generated complaints as part of a coordinated campaign of fake complaints against a business
  • Submitting complaints with falsified evidence, forged documents, or manufactured transaction records
  • Using the Platform to facilitate consumer fraud or to misrepresent a transaction

3.2 Platform Integrity Violations

  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions, payment requirements, or account suspensions
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Platform's AI prompts, templates, or code
  • Using automated tools, bots, crawlers, or scripts to access, test, or scrape the Platform without authorisation
  • Probing, scanning, or testing for security vulnerabilities without explicit written authorisation
  • Interfering with, degrading, or disrupting the Platform's infrastructure, servers, or other users' access
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data on the Platform

3.3 Illegal and Abusive Content

  • Uploading content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, racially discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful under Indian or US law
  • Uploading malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, or any other malicious software or code
  • Using the Platform to plan, discuss, or facilitate any criminal activity
  • Impersonating Nyay360 staff, government officials, regulators, or any other person or entity
  • Using the Platform to collect or harvest personal data about other users

3.4 Commercial Misuse

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially distributing AI-generated complaint content without authorisation
  • Building a competing product or service using content, templates, or AI outputs from the Platform
  • Using the Platform to provide paid complaint drafting services to third parties without Nyay360's written consent

4. Content Standards

All content you enter into the Platform — complaint descriptions, company details, incident narratives — must:

  • Be truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Relate to a genuine consumer grievance you have personally experienced
  • Not contain personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory language
  • Not contain material that could expose Nyay360 or the third party to undue legal risk through defamation
  • Comply with the Indian Consumer Protection Act 2019 and related regulations regarding legitimate complaints

5. Evidence & Document Standards

When uploading supporting evidence and documents, you must:

  • Only upload documents that are genuine, unaltered, and directly relevant to your complaint
  • Not upload documents belonging to a third party without their authorisation
  • Not upload forged, edited, or fabricated documents
  • Not upload files containing executable code, scripts, or malware
  • Not upload documents containing unnecessary sensitive information (passwords, OTPs, full card numbers)
  • Hold the necessary rights to the files you upload
Uploading forged or fabricated evidence is a serious legal offence. Nyay360 may cooperate with law enforcement in investigations involving fraudulent use of the Platform.

6. Automated Access

Automated access to the Platform is not permitted except through officially documented APIs (if any are made available). This includes:

  • Web scraping or crawling of complaint templates, content, or user data
  • Automated submission of complaints or account registrations
  • Load testing, penetration testing, or security scanning without written authorisation
  • Bulk downloading of Platform content through automated means

Security researchers who discover vulnerabilities are encouraged to report them responsibly to [email protected] rather than exploiting them.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon finding or having reasonable grounds to suspect a violation, we may:

  • Issue a warning to the user
  • Temporarily suspend account access
  • Permanently terminate the account without refund
  • Remove or disable access to uploaded content or generated complaints
  • Cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities as required
  • Pursue civil or criminal remedies as appropriate

We aim to exercise these enforcement powers proportionately and fairly. Where the violation is not clear, we will attempt to contact the user before taking action.

8. Reporting Violations

If you suspect that another user is violating this AUP — for example, by using the Platform to file fraudulent complaints against a business you are associated with — please report it to:

Include as much detail as possible: the nature of the suspected violation, any reference IDs, and why you believe it violates this policy. We take reports seriously and will investigate appropriately.
